Witness appeal following alleged criminal damage in Poole |

Officers investigating alleged criminal damage to grassland in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
At around 3.58pm on Thursday 6 August 2026 Dorset Police received a report from the fire service of a fire that had been started on the grass hillside on Ling Road between Tesco and Tower Park.
It was reported two boys were seen leaving the scene and getting onto a bus. Two juvenile suspects have been identified and are assisting police with their enquiries.
Police Sergeant Sam Kinsella, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who may have seen what happened.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken to those involved.”
